[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using this umbrella base for the umbrellas that sit out in my backyard and were to provide shade for the dogs that I bored peri was surprised to see that the base itself weighs 50 pounds and Is made of cement. It comes with a wonderful cover that keeps it looking fresh and clean rain or shine. The base itself is easy to move and position wherever I needed in the yard I am thrilled with my New base and plan to get another for a second umbrella that we have in the yard providing shade. So far so good it has withstood 10 mile per hour winds and looks like it may withstand more. Definitely recommend over the cheaper bases that are available for purchase.

The California Umbrella - California Umbrella 50LBS Umbrella Base With Steel Cover with Concrete is perfect! It was light enough for me to lift but heavy enough to do the job! It was easy to put my umbrella into the base and use it right away! The base is black and looks very nice. It's sturdy and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this umbrella base.

We had it outside in sun, rain and freezing temps there is no damage on this base. The black color looks perfect with our grey color umbrella.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The visual appeal is as described but if you try to move it very often it won't hold up. The tube that holds the umbrella in place won't hold up if you try to move/adjust slightly. As long as you leave it in place it is a great product. If you plan on moving it around opt for something with wheels or like maybe a dolly
Received the wrong color. Stand does not have wheels to help move it around. Didn't bother to set up since it wasn't the color I ordered.
