Buy this book! This story about Miriam has beautiful illustrations and is great for kids! My son loves looking at the pictures and asks for it often before bedtime.
I have always felt that women had the strength and courage to do amazing things for the Kingdom of God. However, traditional Bible stories rarely talked about women as leaders or change makers. That's where this stunning series comes in. With well-written stories and beautiful illustrations, A Brave Big Sister artfully describes Miriam as a strong and courageous Biblical leader, bringing to light the lesson that women can do amazing things. God outlines so many stories in the Bible that depict this very lesson, though they are often overshadowed by stories of Biblical men. God has a place and a plan for both strong men and women! It is a life-changing lesson for young girls to learn and I am so thankful we found this series. Looking forward to the next book! This would make a fabulous Christmas present for every called and courageous girl you know!
Great illustrations and the story highlights the amazing bravery of a woman who was called by God. Highly recommend!
