UNFORTUNATELY, THIS SCALE matches the one in my doctor's office! LOL! i kept wondering WHY i weighed approx 12 lbs more there. my old scale was really off. this scale is consistent w/ the ones w/ the weights. Taylor's claims about their scale are correct.
This bathroom scale is sturdy. The ridges on the foot area helps prevent slipping if your feet are wet. It is programmable for every person using the scale to calculate body mass, weight and amount of calories you need to consume in order to maintain your weight.
Nice looking and light, and seems to have feature to store multiple users' weights (?) but I did not use that. It sometimes takes a few seconds for the scale to read your weight, but when it finally does, it seems to be very accurate with doctor's scales, and consistent to the ounce. Unfortunately, the display screen (small & rather faint to begin with) began to disintegrate from the inside after about a year of use. (We keep it in a bathroom & use daily, near a shower but not in a wet zone at all). Eventually we got no display at all. I changed the batteries (2 cadmium discs) but still no display. This really should have lasted longer than a year!
It was 5 pounds off and wouldn't go over 180 pounds. had to return it
Only got to use this twice and it now just flashes zeros the. Shuts off!
