We have a one year old fur babies, Kevin, that is so frighten by fireworks and now thunderstorms and another Pup, Elvis, that is now afraid of thunderstorms. We decided to try the Calming Teeth Sticks. They really help Elvis during these horrible thunderstorms. He is now very calm during the storms and only needed half of the recommended does for his weight.. Kevin is better but he still is very nervous. The calming sticks help him but he is so extreme I don't think anything other than a sound proof room is going to help. Now with the calming sticks he at least calms down after the storms or fireworks. Before it would take him at least an hour to get back to normal. There has been times where he would not go out of the house without us being right by his side. We no longer have that issue.
My dog absolutely loves them! He hears the bag and comes running to get his treat! Keeps his teeth nice and clean. Literally the best!
I have a senior dog who has bad separation anxiety. I use zesty paws for all of my other dogs needs, so I figured I can't go wrong using these. He LOVED them, I watched him in the camera and he wasn't barking or pacing... he was content and just finished his dental bone! Wonderful product for my dog!

The only thing i wish was different, I wish they were smaller, my dog does not like to share or even think, you want his treat, he can get mean, other than that, the calming sticks work great. My dog does not like fireworks but with the sticks he doesn't seem to mind. He don't go try to hide like he has done before. The work really good.
I got this to try to help calm my anxious dogs during these warmer months when the constant fireworks start and it actually worked! It really mellows them out and they aren't running to hide in the corner anymore. I don't know know if it's the hemp, melatonin or the combination of both but I see a huge difference in my dogs behavior so if you have an anxious dog I would definitely give these a try, the fact that it's good for their teeth is just an added bonus!
My dog was confused at first. I think it was because of the scent of them. They smell a little minty. But she ended up loving them. They help clean her teeth and gums while giving her stress relief and relaxation, what's not to like. The stick doesn't last her long but it doesn't disappear super quick either. My dog loves these and I love that my dog loves these.
These were a good remedy to fireworks anxiety for my dog. She loved them and since they are good for her teeth, added bonus! I definitely noticed a difference when I gave them to her. She was still alert and maintained her personality but was not shaking and restless like she usually is when fireworks are going off. I was nervous they would make her act strange and make her overly calm, but they did exactly what they needed to.

I have an older dog who will bark at anything after it gets dark. Once he gets going it's impossible to get him to calm down, which leads to me not getting any sleep! I decided to try these calming sticks before getting drugs from the vet and these work great! I give him one before dark and He's been staying calm all night and I can sleep. I've also got my parents using this for their pup with fireworks. They are pleased as well. Worth every penny!
