The holes allow the crust to get crispy, but leave a bit of debris on the rack in the oven.
We love this pan! We will not bake a pizza without it. Whether we are baking a frozen pizza, or tossing a pizza from scratch, this pan makes the pizza baking experience worth it. Pizzas cook evening every time! Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up! You won't regret it!
I didn't buy it to make pizza with. I use large pans like this to bake potatoes, squash, bake french fries, etc. Proabably not what you wanted to hear.
