Purchased this unit for use when hooking my trailer to city water supply. The diverter allows pressurized water to drain from the faucet prior to disconnecting from the water source. No more spray soaking when disconnecting. Small issue but this is a neat inexpensive solution. I wonder why RV dealers don't include one of these with each RV purchase. The faucet also is a convenient outside water source at your campsite.
The hose connection was at the top rather than the bottom, but a bit of tweeking and it is all A OK now.
Walmart used to carry these in their stores ... now it has to be ordered online. Although the spigot has changed to plastic instead of brass in recent months, this item is well built and works great for adding a extra water outlet at the campsite.
shown on line as all metal. the faucet is plastic. still freezing weather so haven't used it as it might break if frozen
