Heated hose works great. Had weather the past week down in the single digits, -15° windchill and the hose never froze. The only thing that froze was the water hook up into the camper so anything below 20° let the water drip and you won't have a problem!!!
The heated hose has been in constant use since I got it three days ago. Temps have been as low as eighteen and there have been no problems.
This hose is awesome! I am using for this hose for winter camping here in the blu mountains and it is very heavy duty and stays warm! I was super surprised when I received it shipping by FedEx. It came on time and I opened the box and was super shocked how thick the hose is and how durable it is! I recommend this hose to anyone who is camping or needs a winter hose for watering livestock or whatever! Thanks Walmart!
It keeps the hose from freezing. About the same price as a drinking hose heat tape and pool noodles. No rounding up and spending lots of time trying to make a version of this. Order this and was delivered to home. Just make sure you flush out the hose.
In the last 3-years, I have purchased 3 Heated Drinking Water hoses from Walmart; on the 1st hose, the coupling broke in to 2 pcs, as I was tightening it to eliminated a drip at the spigot, I installed a repair coupling
The hose you sent me is not working correctly. It is 54 degrees out side and the hose is on and the power cord has burn marks on it. I want to be sent a new one and return this one. The hose should not turn on until it's at least 40 degrees. The power cord is so hot we can't touch it. There is some serious wiring issues. We have used this brand before and never had this issue.
Leaks!! I hooked up around 30 psi and water sprayed everywhere (not from fittings water cams from black wrap- see photo) on both ends.
My prior Camco heated hose developed a leak inside the insulated casing about 18 mo after purchase. I gave it another go and this one arrived w/o an adapter and the hose leaked on 1 end from the minute I attached it. It can't have been tested. Terrible company. Never buying their products again.
I have had this hose for less than 2 months and I woke up to a pond from water spilling out all night while I was sleeping. The connector came completely out of the hose. I am very disappointed. It clearly is a factory issue.
I had this hose hooked up,.. it got down to 9° and I was using it with the pump, to put water into some holding tanks and when I woke up the next morning the hose had caught fire, it still works as a hose, and Walmart replaced it. I am not using the mew one YET.
