I am a widow and I have a heavy front loader. I had some difficulty getting the washer into the pan because of its weight. Even when I leaned the entire washer on the edge of the plastic pan it held up. Yep, not so much as a dent.
This was delivered partially opened. The wrapping had come off one side almost entirely, however, the pan does work fine and I would recommend this item to a friend.
This pan is sturdy and thicker plastic than expected, which was a nice bonus. I have used this several times and it is doing a fantastic job! It was a little bit of a challenge to get the washing machine moved into position as the starburst pattern is raised and the feet on the washing machine couldn't go over them and had to be lift into position, but the product is exactly what I needed! I am VERY happy with my purchase and site to store is invaluable and FREE!!!
Between Home Depot and Walmart, Walmart had the lesser overall price. This is the perfect solution for installation as a Heat Pump Water leak drain pan. My new Water to Air Square Vertical unit is suspended off of the floor in the attic and this pan gives several inches on all sides underneath for protection against unexpected water coming down on the ceilings below.
I bought this to use as a painting tray, not for a washing machine and it exceeded my expectations. Wish I had thought of earlier but glad I thought of it. Worked out great!
This pan is more pliable than some of the other stiffer ones out there that may have a greater tendency to break at the edges if any kind of weight (e.g. washer) is accidentally put on them. This pan is also slightly larger than some others out there, and accommodates my new LG WT1101CW washer (27.5" x 28.5") very well.
Mine is used as a multi planter drip pan. The dimensions advertised is OUTSIDE dimensions "OD" as stamped on the pan. The "ID" as stamped is 27x30.
Exactly what everyone else had to say about it. Does not break when putting washing machine in. Sturdy and flexable.
Based on consumer comments, when my washer started leaking at random times, I invested in this item, and am glad I did. I''m a 62 year old widow, and I was able to get the washer inside it by myself. It's already saved me from wet floors once, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing it's there to catch any leaks.
Perfect size and durable, doesn't have a drain though
