I agree with all the others. This has been a very dependable home office machine. A few times I had to unplug it and plug it back in over about 4-5 years. But print quality is excellent and it is fast. Wish it had an ethernet port for easy networking, but I'm going to attempt to network it now via the USB port on my router. I'm confident it'll do it.
I have ben through 7 toner cartridges and still going strong. As a teacher i run about 100 pages a day without any problems.
I bought this printer in 2005 when I started my tax business, it is still rock'n roll'n!
I've had my MF3110 for about 3 or 4 years now, and it's been a great machine. The toner has been swapped about 8 times and I can't count the amount of paper my family and I have been through with no functional problems to speak of. I've had it shared over the network for at least 90% of its life and it's given nary a smidgen of complication. But that only lasted until I bought my new PC in August. It came toting Vista 64-bit and 8 GB of ram. How surprised was I to find that there were no 64-bit drivers. I now have to plug my laptop in to use it, which can be a real pain if I have a busy week. In the near future, machines with more than 4GB of ram will become common, and with this so will 64-bit OS'es. So I have to ask - why doesn't this printer support it?
In general no major problems, I do however experience issues with paper loading many times it jams and i am not able to get it working again until i open and close the feeder few times and reload paper in the loader trey.
