This calculator is very easy and smooth for either the 10-key expert or the calculator novice. You don't have to punch hard with the soft touch keys and there are two color tones for verification of correct entering of additions and subtractions.
This is the third Canon printing desktop calculator I have purchased over several years. The first one was "borrowed" and never returned. The last one did not survive a bath in coffee. I was not disappointed in this replacement; it is exactly like my last Canon calculator which was 15 years old.
I have one at my office and one at home. I love them and it makes work easier. Comfortable and easy to use for long periods. Great printing capability. I will definitely buy more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great desk smaller adding machine and has extra features that I wasn't expecting! A great deal through Jet.com and the arrival date was much sooner than expected which was a nice surprise! Very happy with this purchase!

I have had many Canon calculators that I have bought at Sam's Club. I was disappointed that the store did not have them and then I went online. They no longer carried Model MP18DII but had this one. I ordered they said I would receive in a week and I had it in two days. Great machine that is an upgrade of the previous model in that it has a battery and retains settings if unplugged.

The calculator does work but it is not user friendly. The operations are cumbersome to accomplish for example to add -5 you have to hit + first. That is a wasted step. There is an on off switch. It is in the top right hand corner. BUT the total key is on the left side not the right where I am accustomed to finding it. I am going to return it. Not because it is a bad machine but because it is not set up the way I like my calculators to be set up. If you can adapt this will be a fine, easy to use, machine for you.
We purchased a Canon MP11DX in September of 2018. For over a year I was hearing a high pitch noise. We blamed the lights, router, computer... last week I had had enough, and the sound was getting louder, others were hearing it as they walked into my office.So I began unplugging electronics one at a time. the adding machine was the last on my list. as soon as I unplugged it the noise was gone. I called canon and was told by an operator that they no longer support the MP11DX. SO I would think twice about getting this out dated machine.
