arrived sooner than expected, way to set up and does the job
Pretty awesome wish it was Wi-Fi but for the price it was a steal but appropriate for what I expect to pay for a printer. I've been wanting a eco tank for a long time and this was right in my price range it prints nicely had appropriate drivers and software available for download for free definitely a bonus.I'm very happy with this this purchase exactly what I needed.
Very easy to set up. Print quality is excellent. Software set up was very quick. Extra black ink in box so should last awhile before needing to buy ink. Has see thru ink levels so you know when you are low.
Seems to print fairly quick and crisp. Absolutely no issues navigating the setup process. I'm hopeful the refillable tanks will last longer and provide better value than cartridge style printers.
I love the Mega Tank printers. This one came with three black bottles, so plenty of ink for printing. I appreciate the fact it is a hard-wired printer, as I prefer it to the wireless, I have a desktop computer, and print solely from my desktop, so this printer works well for me. I wish this was sold with a 25 ft high speed cord in the box, but I ordered a new 25 ft. cord separate for this printer.
This printer has worked great for so many of my projects. I have printed so many things and the ink level has barely dropped!! I'd give it 5 stars but the only thing I don't like is the panel is very hard to read. It's not lit up. Other than that great printer!!
I like the all-in-one pixma printer. The megaTank is new to me. Filling the tanks was not hard. I will have to used it and see how it work.
This printer is great for use with only one computer. If you are trying to use on a local area network, good luck - there is no documentation, and no IP address provided by the printer. One other down side is the readout on the printer is hard to see without a flashlight.
It's imposible to install drivers. The worst part is that if you follow the instructions step by step it does appear to be installing something, but it just doesn't work. It says the machine is ready to print but it doesn't even appear as selectable choice when printing. Worse of all, using it with a PC isn't much better either, and the support website list this as an air print compatible printer... how exactly? I wouldn't dare to guess because this model doesn't connect to a network either.
Everything about this printer is great except the one thing a printer is bought for, yes the prints! The worst prints I have ever seen from a printer much less a brand new one! Prints come out so dark you can't even see some of the back ground and I have wasted a full 50 pack of premium photo paper trying to adjust the color setting and its always the same, My 12 year old printer that this was replacing prints twice as good as this, Im going to see about sending it back.
