Received item within a couple of days of ordering. Easy to set up and that includes bluetooth. So far it is a very good product in the week or so since I received it. Would recommend for any home.
I'm almost through my yellow ink (3/4) so I've printed a lot of pages for journals. The other color inks are about half used give or take a little. The black is still pretty full. I don't know exactly how many pages I have printed but it's been more than I expected. I set the printer up with the direct wifi and it was super simple. I can print directly from my phone, computer and tablets wirelessly without a router. I don't know why people think they need to use the router as it works basically the same. The printer does everything but fax but you can do that with an app or online now. I don't even miss the feature as I've only had to send a fax once this past year. I've printed out photos and documents and both have come out great. I'm very happy that my old Epson Artisan 730 finally died and I purchased this printer. No regrets at all. Highly recommend!!!
This all-in-one printer is ideal for home use. It is easy to set-up!
so far so good! The Quality depends must on the papel rather than the printer. I have test several papers from bond to vinyl, im loving it!
I use this for printing photos. I also have a Pro 100, but I hope to have a more economical printer when I don't need the utmost in quality. I have not had it for long, so I can't comment on reliability or actual number of pages of print per tank. However, the output is beautiful, and the printer is easy to setup and use. It connects via WiFi reliably. The only problem I have had is that when using a thick paper, such as watercolor paper, you can only have a couple of pages in the input tray (back feed). Fortunately, it does have a back feed because this type of paper would not feed from below.
I love that I don't have to buy expensive cartridges. Set up was easy except for entering the password for my wifi. I couldn't figure out the alphabet upper/lower case and numbers. But a friend of mine was able to fix it for me.
I spent HOURS getting it to finally work. Not sure about my rating? Could have been my fault? One possible problem was that I had a previous Canon printer and it kept popping up. I finally removed all vestiges of the former printer. Another problem was bedded deep in my computer and one click fixed that. FINALLY, it seems to be working all right. One big complaint is the tiny, obscure screen....not easy to read at all. Otherwise, it seems to be all right. Maybe I was spoiled at the more expensive, former MX920 printer? Time will tell. I imagine I will like the long-lasting ink cartridges. Scans well!
It is not an "All-in-One" as advertised, as it does have fax capabilities. There is no scanner feed so one has to put items to be copied or scanned in one at a time. This is very awkward and time consuming. It does not use Canon MP Navigator, so scanning is very cumbersome at best. You must go into the settings before you scan something to indicate where you want to put the document. You can go into settings every time you are going to scan something to set the title, but it automatically changes them to something else anyways. This "scan utility" is extremely annoying. The only thing that seems to be good about this printer is that the ink supply lasts longer than the small cartridges that are used on other printers.
Print quality is great. I haven't been able to get AirPrint to work from my phone no matter what I try. The WiFi printing is also sporadic and doesn't work most of the time.
Its prints ok most of the time, but when doing large batches it almost always gets a head clogged. The odd thing is, If I let it sit, it fixes itself somehow. So I just always have to print things in small batches and wait inbetween.
