I got this printer for my birthday in December. Because of the holiday, I have not had time to test it as much as I would have liked. However, from what I have done on this print, it is excellent. The photos are vibrant and the color is great. I am a crafter, so I printed a few 12 x 12 sheets from a digital paper pack. They too came out great. I need more time in order to review it fairly, however, so far so good.
This is my second Pixma printer. My first was an MG4220. It was an excellent printer and still works great for photos and documents. I bought the TS9521C because I wanted a crafters printer, and it's also excellent. I haven't learned all it's features, but the learning is great fun. There are loads of Canon paper projects available free, and I'm taking advantage of that. And it does a great job on snapshots, documents, etc. I'm able to use it from my computer or iPhone. It most definitely meets my needs
I like this printer, However would have liked a CD that would install all the needed software. Having to go to Canon after researching what it is I was missing was a pain. But so far all is working as advertised. The supplied ink cartridges seem to last as long as putting in new ones, so happy with that. I haven't tried the card stock yet.
By far the easiest printer setup I have had in a long time. This printer was purchased for crafting. So far, this printer has great quality prints for paper docs. It's easy to print remotely too. I will be using this printer to print scrapbook paper but haven't had the chance to try it yet
I received this printer in exchange for an honest review of the product. I'm so happy I was given this opportunity because the printer is amazing! The picture quality is great. Love how easy it is to print from my tablet. The ink life compared to other printers I've used is amazing. So far with the set up ink I've printed out an 8x10, 5x7, 5x5 and a few different homework packets and the ink is about 1/2 used. I wish the scanner was a little more user friendly. Changing the scanner settings to save as a pdf was a little complicated. But so far I'm very pleased with the printer.
This is the best investment I could ever do this is perfect I really love it I want to use my printer every day !!
Prints beautiful pictures and good printing. However, the first thing I did was try to scan some photos. Only 1 star on user friendliness. Took 3 times & much frustration to figure out how to get it to work. At first it took 30 seconds to scan one photo. Once I had it set correctly it took 10 seconds per scan. Haven't had a need yet to print various sizes of paper (which is why I bought it).
so far I am impressed by the versatility of the printer. It is smaller than my last all in one, and it can do so much more. The reason I bought it was to be able to print on thicker paper, card stock, and to be able to use various size papers. I have several 'scrapbook' jpg papersI and wanted the ability to be able to print them. I was looking for the ability to print borderless papers. I am pleased with the ability to print 12x12 borderless but I was very disappointed to learn that I can not print borderless for a 6x6 page .... I do not even have the option to print on card stock for 6x6 paper.
So far, so good. I haven't had a chance to use all the functions yet but what I have done has been great. It's taking me a minute to figure everything out as I had my old Canon printer for years and years. I am also hoping to have this one for years and years. I did print out a picture to see if the quality was as good as my old printer and not surprised at all that it turned out beautiful.
My printer is working fine now but I had to connect it to my computer with a cord from my old Canon printer. I tried to get it set up for 2 1/2 hours without any success. So I had a friends husband who is a IT person come over to help me. It took him almost 3 hours to get it connected and it would only print from my laptop. After he left I tried printing from my pc and it wouldn't work till I got the cord out from my old printer. Surely you could make the instructions and online help a little more customer friendly. This is probably at least my 7th printer since 1984 and I've never had this kind of trouble before.
