This is my first experience into prime lens and this budget friendly lens is perfect gateway to experience hobby in totally different way. I am in love with this fun lens.
Very much a step up from the standard kit lens. I paired this lens with the EOS RP and got very professional results. A well rounded lens that can be used in a wide array of situations. Automotive photography and portrait photography have become so easy! Sharpness is there and focus is just right for my applications. low light performance is nothing short of excellent. Keep in mind that you will have to update you firmware to use this lens to its fullest potential.
Great lens for the EOS R. Faster, better focus and conveniently smaller than my EF lense with the RF adapter. Affordably priced too.
I still can't believe how affordable this lens is. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, this lens is amazing, produces sharp and Profesional images. It is light weight and easy to use.

What a fantastic lens for the money the colors just POP.
After purchasing the new to me Canon EOS RP with the RF 24-105 this was the next lens I decided to get after reading the positive reviews and knowing that a 50mm is a lens that has always been part of my equipment in the past. I can only say it has turned out to be a sound decision and the lens is going to get a lot of use.
It's a fine lens. Every Canon shooter should have a Nifty Fifty in their bag. They're very packable, and provide acceptable image quality for a variety of scenarios. The 50mm focal length, the no matter which lens, is a good all-arounder. The new RF version seems a bit more solidly built than the most recent EF iteration. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but it's "fine" for general shooting, and the price point is very affordable. If you already have the latest EF 50 1.8 STM, the only major driver to update to this lens is to eliminate the adapter.
Don't recommend. Read reviews before purchasing. If I could I'd give them a 0. Reached out to seller with no response back. No hood, you have to be present for signature delivery. Complete waste of time and money!!
