Normally, changes in light conditions interrupt a camera's analytics but the new Canon range automatically resets within 20 seconds of detecting a significant increase or decrease in brightness. This ensures minimal interruption to any running analytics. Simple and flexible installation Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology with IEEE802.3af compliance allows the use of a single LAN cable to both power the camera and transfer video and audio data when connected to a PoE midspan or switch. PoE works for installations up to 100 meters whereas AC power supply gives flexibility of installation up to 500 meters.
