First let me say that reading reviews on the products is very helpful and I often consult them before I purchase a product online. I am a frequent shopper of Walmart.com and love to find a great product at a price that falls within my budget. I researched tons of area rugs at various other stores and the best price for the large area rug that I needed (8x11) in my living room which has hardwood floors was here at walmart. The best attributes of this rug is that the colors fit right into my decorating scheme and the carpet is very plush. Being a mother of two young children I was afraid that my children would spill/destroy this rug, but it has held up beautifully and is very easy to clean and does not show/retain stains.
Because of the other reviews stating that the colors are darker than they appear in the photo, I took a chance on this one. It's true; the colors are deeper and richer than they appear to be. The fibers are softer than I'd expected (we live in a warm climate so we sit on it with bare skin often.) Overall, we are very pleased. For the price, it is a great value.
We bought these rugs to coordinate with our newly painted living room - dark tan and our light tan couches. The rugs have all the colors that I was looking for and are really soft and nice. The blue is a nice light blue shade and the green is mossy. There is also a dark grey stripe that is quite prominent. With a light blue curtains and dark colored frames, these rugs really help to make our living room decor complete. Overall for the price, we were not able to find such pretty rugs any where else. Yet another great Walmart value!
I looked and looked for a rug for my back entryway that would encompass a few different paint colors and this one did the job fantastically. It's beautiful and feels very cushy. I can't believe the value for the price.
I purchased this site to store and was so happy when I rolled it out and it looked great. This is in my son's playroom and the colors are perfect for a boy and certainly something he can grow into. I was surprised that it was pretty soft. I can't believe this was $200 after looking everywhere - where rugs of this quality were $400-500.
I ordered the 4'x5' size rug. It is an excellent rug for the money. Very nice quality, and the color is even better in person than it is online. Site-to-Store was easy to use and the rug arrived in excellent condition. You will need to purchase a non-slip rug pad to use with this product. It makes the rug feel even softer and keeps it where you put it.
This rug really surprised me! It's much thicker and softer then I had expected. My front door actually catches on it. The colors are very nice although I think the one stripe looks more yellow/gold in the picture then it is in person. It's more tan. A few threads were loose but nothing major. The cat has also dug into it a few times with no real issues so far. Overall, you can't beat it for the price!
I ordered this rug for my dining room, wanting something casual in "beachy" (blue) colors. But this rug had too much brown and not enough blue, plus a green stripe that reminded me of GI Joe, so it would be more appropriate for a family room or a boys bedroom. The quality seemed fine for the price (in the few minutes we had it on the floor) and the $189 price for an 8x10 rug was great.
I got this rug in the 8 x 11 size and it is great! The rug is very soft, softer than some I've seen for 3 times the price. THe colors aren't as bright as I would've liked, but they blend perfectly in my livingroom. Way to go WalMart!
I was really surprised at how dark this rug was. It is not at all like pictured, there are a lot of dark blues and browns. It reminded me of something that belonged in a lodge with the deep pine greens. On a positive note, this rug was surprisingly thick and plush. The quality was great for the price, but because it didn't look like the picture and didn't match my decor, I ended up returning it.
