I bought two sets of (three) baskets for storage in my Canopy bookcases and tv stand. They work perfectly! The little baskets fit in the tv stand and the large basket fits just right into the bookcase. I store DVD's in them. They have a nice liner and look great!
The baskets are darker than the coffee table I got them for. They fit perfectly in it, that is the 2 larger baskets do, with one on each side of the table. Nice and the smaller baskets sit in my entertainment center and hold small items thereby keeping things tidy.
These baskets are a great buy! Because my office is in my great room and I wanted to keep things as neat as possible, these baskets are on my bookcase shelves to hide all of the clutter. The color is a dark tobacco brown which matches my bookcase so they look like they were made for each other. I am very pleased with this purchase and plan on buying more for a small shelf over my desk.
Large Baskets do not fit well in Coffee Table.
Just as the others said, they definitley trick you. You have to order two sets to get two large baskets. to fit in the canopy coffee table. Good luck trying to find baskets elsewhere that fit. The other four small baskets that come with it might seem like a waste but I guarantee that everyone will find a use for them. In a linen closet, on a desk, in the kitchen and so on. It might be painful to spend that much on baskets but I found that you just have to do it and get it over with. I was afraid that the bottojm of the baskets would scratch the wood from being pulled in and out so I bought small brown felt pads to go on the rough bottom. These can also be found at Walmart for a few bucks.
I purchased these baskets to go with the Canopy Mahogany Coffee Table. The large basket looks great with the table, but I need 2 large baskets. I had to buy 2 of the 3 piece willow basket sets and now have 4 extra cube baskets. I wish that you could buy either a set of the 2 large baskets only, or just buy the large baskets separaely.
The color & appearance were great, just what I was looking for in my coffee table that I purchased with Walmart, but when I tried to them in my coffee table, I found out that one basket was bigger than the other. One of the baskets doesn't go in all the way through like the other one does.
We think it is rediculous that we have to buy 2 sets of these baskets to get the right size that will fit in the coffee table. The baskets are not the same exact color, and had to be kind of "helped" into the holes of the coffee table. Knowing it would be hard to find the right sized baskets because the ones we needed had to be long and skinny, we just broke down and purchased these. The other 4 baskets are very small sized and seem out of place. We don't really know what to do with them, as we have an entertainment center for our DVDs.
When I purchased these baskets, I purchased them to go with my new Canopy mahogany coffee table. They are nice baskets for the price paid, I just have one complaint. The coffee table shows two baskets, but the set only comes with one basket that perfectly fits the space in the coffee table. If you want your table to look like the one in the picture, then they force you to buy two sets. Included in the 3 piece set are two small baskets that look a little out of place under the coffee table. I'm going to have to purchase a second set just to get the second coffee table basket. How hard would it have been to sell the coffee table basket seperately, or have a set of two of them?
You have to buy a set of 3 baskets in order to get THE 1 that is touted as fitting the coffee table specifically, and you have to buy 2 sets just to get the 2 baskets you need for a total cost around 78 dollars! I bought them to go with my daughter's new coffee table and we had a lot of trouble initially getting them to slide in, and they constantly continue to stick and are hard to pull in and out. Really disappointed, after paying so much!
