For me, the curtain's light-weight synthetic fabric is a plus (not a minus, as some reviewers noted). The fabric has a clean, designer effect --- a matte surface yet with a bit of reflectiveness. Either side works as the "front" or face side. As I explain below, it is also a multi-purpose product. Wrinkles fall out fast and easily. It launders quickly in the washer and dries quickly, whether on the shower rod or in the clothes dryer. The color doesn't fade despite repeated washings. The corner magnets are strong enough and the silver grommets for the hooks are bright, shiny, secure and don't tarnish or rust. As with any other decorative shower curtain, you may want to use it with a standard plastic interior shower curtain liner although it also works without a liner. And here's a few ideas for great alternate uses: I purchased five extra of these curtains to use as temporary "throw covers" for my kid's furniture, bed, sofa and floorspace play area. Great for car seats too, and to protect carpeting, furniture or upholstery from pets. Just gather the sheet up from where your pet was playing, shake it off, and use again for pup protection. Finally, I also use them as covers for a massage table. Oils, lotions and body fluids wipe off quickly, don't soak in, won't stain, and launder easily and completely. Because the curtain fabric is so practical and the size is bigger than regular fabric bolts, I trimmed off the grommets from a couple of the curtains and hemmed the edge to be a plain, big black square. I've never had the problem with running dye anywhere; after many washings they still look brand-new. (As with any new product, it's ideal to launder them before use.) I bet you'll find this curtain works just fine for your bathroom or many other applications.

It is a little thin but who cares its only a shower curtain or liner depending on how you want to use it.Does the trick for me.
This is one of the thinnest items i have ever felt. It could not physically be any thinner. Feels cheaply made. I got it to cover my daughter's clothes closet and i am not using it as a shower curtain so it is holding up okay but i am fearful it will rip easily.
I really liked this curtain, until I realized the black dye from the curtain bleeds and was staining my bathtub.
the dye from the shower curtain stained my tub...shouldve never got the black but the white gets dingy
