Love it. Just masculine enough to make my husband notice :)
After searching for a week online for curtain panels for my windows, I found these shower curtains. I ordered 7 for my windows. They are perfect for the FRENCH COUNTRY-SHABBY CHIC decor I am creating in my home. They look better than any curtains I could have ordered. I even found some Toile shower curtain hooks for the curtain rods. They hang beautifully with a nice pleat and look FABULOUS! Try it out for yourself, shower curtains used for window curtains. I am extremely delighted.
I looked for a shower curtain to fill a practical need. But this one is very attractive as well. Two birds with one stone.
I was disappointed in the color of this curtain as well as the material. It is cotton sort of on the stiff side. It is not the usual vinyl or nylon. The picture displays a true bright white- against the white shower tiles and it did not match. The color is a off white, a natural cotton with the stripes colors being faded denim . It just did not suite my needs but still a great looking product for some one with different color needs.
This shower curtain seemed to be sturdy but I returned it because the colors in it were all denim instead of a royal blue like the picture shows. I also was under the impression that it was not fabric and it was.
I adore the style, fabric and color of this shower curtain. It looks absolutely perfect in our casual shore themed bathroom. I hung it right out of the package. When I purchased an additional one to make curtains I decided to wash it first. I washed it according to the instructions, cold water line dry & it shrunk ALOT!!! Probably somewhere between 6 & 8 inches in length. It won't matter with the curtains as they are now preshrunk but what about when I need to wash the shower curtain, and with 3 teenage boys that will need to happen sooner than later... I love it so much that I'm considering buying an extra or two until I can find something that won't shrink upon washing. Just beware that this is what happens when washed, even according to the care instructions.
I love the fabric and the original look of this shower curtain. Unfortunately I have 3 dogs who love to lay on the bathroom floor and brush against the curtain so it needs to be washed frequently. The first time I washed it (according to directions) it shrank a lot. It now barely reaches the top of the tub! It shrank a good 8 inches! Having a husband out of work and our money very tight I can't afford to be replacing things like shower curtains every couple weeks so I am very disappointed with the poor value of this product!
I purchased the above shower curtain at Wal Mart, it said machine washable. I washed it alone in the washer in cold water and it shrunk in length about 8 inches. Needless to say it is useless now.
