PT wanted a grab bar to step up from one room to another. Just what they wanted! Works very well. Has no problem using it! Very, very sturdy. Attaches with 6 2-inch screws (or maybe 2-1/2 inch).

This is the second pair of grab bars purchased. They are attractive and easy to install. 1st pair for help on/off commode and 2nd pair for bath/shower safety.
Great for decorative wall grab bar for husband! Blends in with decor and is VERY strong when applied to wall. He's 195 pounds and pulls on this with probably a lot of weight several times per day and this thing is there to stay!!!

Sturdy and not imposing in size. I helped a home care client of mine with the purchase, as she had nothing else solid with which to help her get into and out of her tub. We chose the 12" size, which is plenty large enough to grab hold of. I especially liked that it screwed into the wall, rather than with suction.
I love the size of it. Didn't want a long bar at the toilet area. Also am glad the screws are hidden so can't cut myself on torqued screw heads. White does not show up so much as silver bars do.
it's attractive yet functional
The only complaint I have is that it is a little thick to grasp. I have no real problems with it, but would like a little less diameter so my short fingers would be able to grasp it better.
