I love the health benefits of adding beta carotene rich foods to my diet. Also, foods in beta carotene such as carrots and sweet potatoes give your skin a natural glow. I love to eat these as an alternative to chips when I am in the mood to snack. Lately I have been eating them with ranch until I find a healthier alternative.
There seem to be a lot of chips that have black spots on them like the stem was included when slicing. Once cut off the taste is basically fine just unappealing.
The last two times I've purchased these I've gotten many pieces that are not edible. There are many tops of the carrots that makes it very unappealing and a waste of my money.
I ordered on 10/4/21. The carrots were so slimy and had EXPIRED 7/21.
Poor quality
Beyond expired produce being sold. Expired in March of 2023.
I usually love these for snacking, a salad or cooked in a meal. Half of carrots I bought 24 hours ago are rotten or slimy. Had to toss the entire bag in the trash.
I tried Walmart grocery delivery and ordered these carrots for a meal I was planning to make during the week. The groceries came Thursday. On Saturday I was ready to use the carrots. When I took them out of the fridge I could see they looked watery and slimy in the bag. When I opened the bag the smell was terrible and there was white mold all over them. I had to throw them away. There is no place to make a complaint and try to re-coop the cost. I will not be using this service again. At least with Kroger if the quality is bad I can get a refund.
The carrots were delivered 2 days before the expiration date. They were discolored. Many of the pieces still had the stem on them. I would never pick this product for purchase. Honestly, I threw them out because I couldn't feed them to my family.
