I have used Cascade dishwashing powder for more than 30 years. I have tried using Cascade liquid only to find that I leave probably 25 % of the product clinging to the inside of the container that I'm unable to use. My glassware, dishes, pots and stainless utensils all come out clean and I don't have any desire to even try any other brand.... why would I, when I'm completely satisfied? These days it's great to still have products which perform as they should and that's why I have remained a loyal user.
Always performs the best in my dishwasher
This is a great product and Walmart's service is great and quick.
I've tried some of the new detergents, and I tried Cascade again for the first time. It had been years. It is still the best dishwasher detergent around. Dishes are very clean and they do sparkle. Many loads of dishes for the money. Still the best deal. Try it again for the first time....
Don't order this to be shipped. As others commented, the box was broken and contents spilled. Not only was it hard to get the contents out of the shipping container, the Cascade box was unusable. Shipper needs to find a better way to protect it from damage.
Great smell, does the job!
Cascade does the job but price wise it is not any better than the cheaper stuff.
This does the job for a reasonable price, haven't had a desire to try another
I have been an appliance tech in Arizona for 15 years. Our water is very hard and white film on dishes is a daily service call. Used to be able to direct customers to Cascade Complete Powder because of the high phosphate content to soften the water. Yes, P/G, phosphates DO soften water. So, unless you live in a place with naturally soft water, or spend the bucks on a softener your options are now limited... there is hope however. There is a product on the market, I won't use the name because its not a PG product. But it is sold in the same soap isle usually near the rinse aid. It comes in a yellow water bottle shape and has a picture of a Lemon on it. It is a natural citric acid based product that you can 50/50 with any enzyme based powder soap. This product works very well, and will even remove existing film already on dishes (unless the new soap as already etched the glass). I promise this will resolve your problem. I have read all previous reviews, and even the PG responses, and can't believe the help they are offering. The problem IS lime and calcuim from the hard water. Nothing to do with rinse aid. All the rinse aid does is put a sheeting action over your dishes to help with drying and won't do anything but seal in the film. Please, PG, please stop giving incorrect advise. If you have a water softener and are still having the same problem, have your water tested, as your water softener is probably in need of service. Until they reinstate phosphates or some other water softening agent into the detergent, this is the best we can do. Hope this helps.
Worst product ever!! It deposits a white film on my utensils.
