This turned out to be a really nice looking piano. I gave it to my boyfriend for our anniversary and he absolutely loved it. It doesn't feel or look cheap what so ever.

always thought yamaha keyboards were better... more professional... But, this keyboard you can plug into your computer... use it with ACID, Band in a Box, Fruity Loops etc, down load a free mini moog and arp 2600 etc. ( you just have to google them) plus other vst instruments. if you don't hook it up to the computer... still has 400 voices and a sampler... the keys are a nice size and the sounds are good

This keyboard is definitely worth the money. It actually teaches you how to play. There are 90 songs and 20 exercises. The first song is the simplest and becomes progressively harder as you go along to the last. The exercises are for finger development and movement along the keyboard. And, as you learn, you play with a full virtual band… so, you get the feel of playing with others. You can adjust the tempo (speed) of the song, cut it down into small parts… practice over and over again until you master that one section. Then you can speed it up. You can select the right or left and or both for practice. It has a 2” by 4” window that shows fingers with the 5 numbers on each hand, so you can pick the right fingers as you learn… a depiction of the keyboard itself… showing the actual notes you are playing… and Treble and Bass clef showing what written note you are playing… (to help you learn to read music.) So, it’s geared to make you learn. It has 66 piano style keys which gives you the feel of an actual piano. (A piano has 88 keys and the lowest and the highest octave notes are missing. But it has a feature so you can slide middle C up an octave and actually get the lowest notes of a piano if you want…). 400 tones… 14 piano sounds… 14 organ, all orchestral instruments, guitars, bass, drums, percussion, lot’s of synthesizers, and ethnic instruments… 150 rhythms to play along with. It samples sounds, too. Headphone jack for private (embarrassed free) listening, an input for CD/MP3, sustain peddle jack (sold separately,) and a USB MIDI jack for computer and home studio recording capability. NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE! The only Draw Back is it does not have touch response keys for the piano tones (no matter how hard you hit the keys, they will always be the same volume.) But, for the money, to learn and all the other features… it is a good buy. You can always get the same keyboard with velocity keys fro that effect… it’s available but twice as much. It sounds good enough to be in your own band and enough to keep you busy… and very addictive when it comes to learning it!

I am someone that always wanted to learn how to play the piano. I saw this keyboard and decided I would purchase and begin. It has been a week and I am progressing with learning how to play. The screen is a little small but I can work with it. It allows you to slow the tempo until you get the hand movement down and then you can increase the tempo. It gives you a grade as you play so you know when to move on. It realyl does not explain the notes and how to read music that well so I opted to get an additional piano lesson from the web. I use www.learnpianoonline.com. Great website for learning to play the piano.

I love the choices of the 400 voices and song list on the keyboard its self. The USB interface is awesome because it uses a A to B USB cable instead of a MIDI jack I bought this product to not only play Christmas music for our Christmas party but to also play in general. All I have to do now is get the cable to plug it in to my PC.

Instructions could do a better job of explaining how to use the the keboard options. Hard to figure out how to use.

Thought it had a more professional feel or look but it did not. This is for someone who maybe a teen and just want a teen electronic toy to play with.
