Very good bang for your buck. It starts basic and works it's way twords more advanced songs and comes with some sheet music. It has a nice sound to it and is extreamly helpful for beginners like me.
This keyboard is perfect for beginners like me, who are serious about learning but also don't want to spend a lot of money on a piano until they have some skill. Its bigger then I realized but I've set it up over near a wall and can pop over there and practice all throughout the day. I love it!
I bought this because my son started taking piano lessons and we did not have a piano. I think it is a great deal. The keys look and sound like a real piano. It is large but does not weigh a lot.
I recommend Casio keyboards to everyone, because they have a lot of features on them. The keyboard sounds great. I was told that the Casio keyboards are the best. I had to end up sending the keyboard back, because I didn't have a clue of how big a 76 key keyboard was. It was too heavy for me to carry around. Whereas, I have had back and neck surgery. A 61 key keyboard is more lighter to carry around.
I purchased this Casio WK-500 76-Keyboard for my daughter who wanted this to practice playing using headphone vs playing the piano for everyone to hear. Instead of me nagging her to practice, she is playing it all the time--that alone was worth purchasing. The Piano tone sounds more crisp than the real thing. The quality and all the options was more than I expected. Overall, I am very happy with the product.
This one has a great sound. I had one casio before this one but it did not sound so good. I like the size of the keys, it looks like a real piano. Good functions, record, you can connect mp3 devices, stereo output with 1/4 plugs. I would like it has RCA output instead. I really recomend it.
We bougt the keyboard for our granddaughter who just turned 13. She has music as one of her classes and the teacher was really surprised the she had no piano or keyboard at home. He was impressed that the only practice time was in class. She had to solos to perform and she was flawless. She is not the only one playing now, her dad and brother are learning to play.
I bought this for my son so that he could learn to play the piano. I did not want to invest a lot if he did not enjoy it. The whole family loves playing it and was so easy to learn how to use the different options. Well worth the money!
Excellent training keyboard with onboard programmed instruction. The sky's almost the limit with what you can do with this keyboard; it'll keep me creative and busy for a very long time. The only thing I was disappointed in was the sound; it's a little flat. Other than that, it's an excellent keyboard!
I have been a professional keyboard player for over 40 years. Yes, I've owned the best in the past and have high expectations. This keyboard was purchased as an easy to carry substitute for my Yamaha and Roland synthesisers and stage pianos. Yes, it's a bit flimsy feeling and doesn't have the best touch in the world, but I was amazed at the sound flexibility and overall tonal aspect. As a beginning keyboard, I think it is an awesome choice, and for more experienced players, a very nimble and satisfying portable keyboard.
