Loved everything aspect about this movie
I am a fan of Hayao Miyazaki's animation myself, I bought this for my kids age 12 and 9, and they enjoyed it as much as I do. A Must have if you like Miyazaki animation.
A very fun and well made movie. Although a sci-fi/fantasy it has a distinctly 'Victorian' air to the animation and inventions. A neat story line and plot. Would be enjoyed by older children and adults.
This movie was not one of my favorite in the Ghibli library, and for a long time I avoided rewatching it. However, the movie is very solid and I find I like it even better upon subsequent watches. I could gush about Joe Hisaishi's amazing film score set to Miyazaki's stunning visuals, but it is quite the marvel. It's hard to imagine this came out of the days of cell animation, It has a tremendous amount of heart and the little touches here and there really make the characters feel alive - that there is a weight to them and a depth to the world many films seem to lack.
Love this movie, it was creative, charming, beautifully done. Highly recommend.
Castle in the Sky is my favorite Miyazaki film. The animation is incredible, the story is engaging and the characters are delightful. Must see entertainment!
Whin a girl falls from the sky into a boys lap who knows what hapens well they stur up troble will they get out of it. F ind out in Castle In The Sky. This move is amazing,butifule, delightful, and funny. Buy this movie for an ecape form realit. I have had this movie for about 9 years it makes me smile and dream for new world. No ones colection is complet with out this movie.
I liked the story of the movie. Very good value overall.
