I Bought this Char- Broil Universal Gauge For my Class A Motorcoach.Reason I Almost Died Due to my Tank Was Extreamly Low for The Inside Stove Thus The Piolet light Didn't Quite Burn The Gas Properly Emitting Vapor's over a Few Day Period During A Cold Weather Snap in Arizona 37 Degrees Staying Inside started getting Nauseous and Disoriented .NO MORE WORRY WITH THIS Char- Broil Universal Gauge It Saved My LIFE
My grill didn't have a mechanism to tell how much propane was left in a tank and after years of just guessing I decided the gauge was a good purchase. Attaches to the tank, hose goes to the gauge and that's it. Pretty straight forward.
I aways keep a full spare tank but it's nice now to know you will run out while cooking and be aware and ready to change tanks.
Such a great idea - works well - nice to not be surprised and run out while cooking!
This guage is so handy. My Charbroil Commercial stainless steel grill is 14 years old. It is such a relief that I don't have to worry about it starting or running out of gas anymore.
Still on my first tank using the guage. At this juncture, it 'appears' to be working properly.
I installed the gauge maybe 7 months ago. I installed it with the gauge facing up as instructed and it's remained like that. We went to grill and the flames were very very low, even with everything wide open. The gauge read about 75% full. I had another tank but the same problem. I thought maybe I misread the directions way back then and the gauge should be sideways. I reoriented the gauge sideways and BAM big flames again. So now I'm worried that the gauge won't read correctly. What may be the issue?
worked for 3 days so if your after something to check a tank and throw away may be the item for you. personally its cheaper to just buy a new tank than one of these to check each time.
Made the connection as instructed but does not work!
