I love the improvements to this new Cricut machine. You can adjust the depth of your cuts to allow you to cut anything from vellum to chipboard! The display screen shows you what it looks like before it cuts. By changing the font adjustment you can get 4 different looks from the same font. The only hard part is you need to make sure the paper is stuck firmly on the cutting mat or it will slide around. You also need to make sure to have the cutting depth set correctly or it won't cut completely through. I LOVE it!
AWSOME! The best purchase I have made in a long time. The possibilities with this machine are endless. If you imagine it, you can do it. The DVD included helped alot. I watched it several times. Lots of choices of cartridges to choose from. You won't get bored with this selection. I did find it very costly to get started. The cartridges are pretty expensive since you will want them all. Would recomend this product in every home.
This product is super! The only downfall is that it is much larger than my previous cricut machine so it doesn't fit in my bag or on my bookshelf. A pretty minor issue considering all the wonderful new features this machine has. It cuts so much faster and you can do so much more with the 12 x 12 cutting mat. You have to reload paper so much less frequently. I totally recommend this product.
I LOVE my Cricut!!! This is one of the best things I've ever owned. I bought it to do posters for Project Prom and it has saved me so much time and $$$ not having to use my printer ink! If you have kids that have projects..this is wonderful. Buy one...it's fun! (I have the big one..it's worth the extra $)
Love this machine!! Now instead of buying die cuts and stickers to decorate a scrapbook page, I can make my own! I learned how to make Christmas cards (really easy) so now I can make my own. The only thing I would recommend if you buy it, make sure you buy an extra mat. Happy Scrappin'!!
This product was a great addition to my scrapbooking supplies. It allows me to make bigger die cuts than the original version, plus it has even more features that the first one. There are endless possibilities with this machine. One bummer is that you have to keep purchasing a cutting pad after the glue starts to wear off. Another thing, when the pad is going bad, the adhesive starts to stick to the actual paper when being removed, which opens another chore for me to do: removing the adhesive from my project. Overall, it's a great machine if you can keep up with all of the up keep that it requires to fuction at its best.
I have the Cricut and the possibilities are endless! It's so easy... hit the 'on' button, fix your paper on the mat, hit the 'load' button, your paper will roll in the slot, use your keypad to decide what you want and hit 'cut' and thats it! The Cricut does the rest. Excellent for scrapbookiing, making cards for any occasion at a moments notice! I use it for making patterns for adding embellishments to my sewing projects! HELPFUL HINT: As far as needing a new mat... i just re-spray mine with an adhesive spray meant for quilting. Just don't spray to much, very lightly spray the mat and repeat as needed, which is about once every 6mos.
This machine is great for personal such as use for scrap booking, crafting and art projects. I also use my for my business signage, flyers and all sorts of custom advertisement. The cricut is also a great tool for kids school projects, custom made party invites, dinner party menus, place cards, etc... I am so enjoying all the wonderful things I can do and create with my Cricut... Worth the money, my Cricut has paid for itself 3 times over in just 2 weeks in making my custom scrap book embellishments alone.....
I really liked my new "toy". My only complaint would be that the blade does not always cut the letters perfectly. Sometimes the paper "scrunches" up at the corners and the letters get ruined. I bought this machine because I am in college and I will soon be in a classroom soon and it will be very helpful in many ways. I used this machine for the first time to make large signs for a fundraiser that I do and I was pleased with the results. It's very easy to learn and fun to use.
I was so excited to find the Cricut Expression for such a great price at Walmart ...however, i was very disappointed when i got home and opened the box only to find that the product was NOT complete. The version that is sold at Walmart does not include one of the cartridges ... the shape sampler cartridge. If this isn't a big deal for you, then fine ... you'll be very happy. BUT, if you think you're getting a great deal, you'll be fooled. I feel like I was taken advantage of and will be quickly returning mine and will be buying another cricut from another source. It may cost me $10 more at overstock.com, but at least I'll be getting the COMPLETE product next time.
