I have combination skin and can cos acne very easily, I can't use any heavy day and night lotion or cream. I love this night cream cos it is so light weight and won't sticky and oily. It hydrates my skin very much without greasy feeling.
I purchased this product one month ago and I am amazed with the results. I have struggled with acne for most of my life and I have been always hesitant to use moisturizers as I feared they would clog my pores and make my skin blotchy. I was recommended this moisturizer by a friend and decided to try it to see if it made a difference. It is so light weight I almost forgot I had even put it on. I can see an improvement of my skin and a calmness as well. My face no longer is blotchy and red and it feels smooth and even!
I was using some pretty expensive skincare products and I hate to admit it but I prefer this lotion from CeraVe. It works well and doesn't irritate my skin, nor does it break me out, and I have had a very long, very painful history with acne. I can't complain about this.
The CeraVe PM facial moisturizing lotion is one of the best daily moisturizers I have tried! It does not clog pores, it is very hydrating, and I have seen a reduction in the amount of monthly breakouts I get due to its high concentration of niacinamide! I would recommend this product to friends and family and have been a consistent purchaser of the product for the past 6-8 months. The only complaint I have about the product is the use of Dimethicone high in the ingredient list. It would be nice to see the ingredient removed of in a lesser concentration.
Been using this for over 4 years. It was recommended by my dermatologist back then and has been a part of my skin care ever since! I use this day and night, only difference is that I use another sunscreen over it during the day time since I don't feel the SPF for the AM cream is enough for me. Also major question....CAN I USE THIS UNDER MY EYES...IS THAT SAFE?
This is a good moisturizer I know that, it has the required ingredients as recommended by dermatologists, but I dont know why does my face start itching after using this at night. I use the CeraVe AM lotion in the morning and nothing happens but every night or every other night my face itches after applying this night lotion. Please if anyone can help…I dont want to stop using this product but only if this issue gets resolved.
Why not bigger sizer for normal to oily skin??I am so disappointed size is too small and keep buying the product plus expensive although works out for me.when u create a big size product for dry to normal skin moisturizer why not this one.
I was really excited to try out this product because I had heard so many great things about it. I was looking for a great lightweight moisturizer for combination skin. When I first put it on my face, it felt lightweight and it sank in my skin right away which I thought was nice since I have oily skin in my T zone. BUT, two days after using this lotion, my forehead became sore and there were small bumps forming all over this area. I never had a lot of texture on my forehead so I was shocked when I saw the way my skin looked! Moreover, my face felt sooo much oilier than usual. I stopped using this lotion and my skin became smooth again after three days. I was disappointed because this lotion is fragrance-free, it has niacinamide, it has a great texture and a good price. I don't know which one of the ingredients I reacted to but I know it isn't niacinamide because I'm presently using a niacinamide serum from The Ordinary and my skin doesn't react negatively. I wanted to try out other products from the line, but now I'm scared that I will react to these products too. Hard pass for me, unfortunately.
I heard a lot of good things about CeraVe, and for context, I have been using their SA cleanser (as body cleanser), the body moisturizer, and therapeutic hand cream with no issues for a year now. so I decided to try their face products. I have been using this PM lotion since May 2022 and stopped in Dec 2022. I gave it chance after chance, to make sure it wasn't some other product/issue, but every time I use the PM lotion, it triggers a negative reaction on my skin. in the beginning, I patch tested it, and patch test was okay. so I started using it full face every night, and noticed that it would sting/burn my face (particularly around my nose/mouth), and my face would go red/patchy. for the next several days, I had severe flaking/peeling all around my face - for context, I had dead skin peels hanging off my chin/jawline in the morning. I double checked my other products and none of them have been reformulated, and they have been the same products/formulas for the past 2.5 years, so I knew the issue was likely the PM lotion. a week after I stopped using the PM lotion my skin immediately cleared up. I'm sad to say that while I've had an amazing experience with CeraVe's body/hand products, this face PM lotion did not work well for me. Something about it is too potent for my face skin. I will say that it is budget friendly, so for those who are able to use this, it's a cost-effective option.
Used the Cerave PM moisturizer for years, but now have to find a different product since they have changed the formula and its also 30ml less (was 89ml, now 59ml) for the same price.
