It has a nice spicy kick and doesn't require a lot of chewing to enjoy the flavor. Other consumers described this jerky as melting in your mouth and they're right. This is the best jerky I've ever eaten.
Tender, as jerky goes. If you like more of a pull & chew or thin & melt in your mouth, this isn't it. The spices are good but unevenly dispersed in the package I purchased. One piece had very little heat and the next was a flavor bomb. Far less celery flavor than the original, which is a plus for me as I found the celery of the original enough to ruin my experience.
