[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this on my legs because that is where I have Eczema, and it said that it was safe for Eczema. It went on very thick and white, I'm assuming because it's the mineral lotion. It felt pretty good on, and stayed on into the night. Granted, I was not out in the sun and surf while I was testing this because it was rainy when I got it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sunscreen!!! Most sunscreens that I use feel heavy but this one felt very light however I still felt protected. I've been using cetaphil products for a really long time now due to my sensitive skin so I know this sunscreen will offer a great quality. I can't wait to try their other products from the same sunscreen line since this product reached my expectations and more
This sunscreen is fantastic. It's does not feel think and greasy. Great protection from UV rays from the sun.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this face sunscreen. I like how gentle it is! It seemed to blend in when I rubbed it in. It's not my “go to” sunscreen for myself, I prefer something with some glow in it, but I like it and will use it again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always looking for sunscreens that don't feel greasy, but still protect my skin. I love that this sheer sunscreen has that great Cetaphil lotion feel. It does have a slight white tint, but it is a minor inconvenience for a great feeling sunscreen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a mineral sunscreen so it does leave a white cast—but if you set it with some colored powder it's not too bad... to me it works like every other mineral sunscreen I've used, where I live it's winter so I can't really say if it helps with sunburns and such. It's not greasy like some sunscreens are after you apply it and it absorbs really fast. I put it on after all of my skin care stuff let it soak and then go in with my makeup. Applying with a beauty blender would help with the white cast but it's easier just to use my fingers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I received this product free from Influenster in exchange for an honest review*. I tried out the Cetaphil Sheer Mineral SPF 30 Sunscreen, and I have to say...I don't think they know the meaning of the word "sheer". Like, there is NOTHING sheer about this sunscreen. NOTHINGGGGG. I applied it to my face expecting sheer coverage and was quickly horrified when I looked like a ghost and couldn't get the white cast to go away with any amount of rubbing/massaging in. Verdict: take it back to the lab and start over/don't waste your money. Someone needs to buy them a dictionary or explain to them what "sheer" means.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this product since I use Cetaphil face cleanser and moisturizer and I love them. However, my honest review about this product is that it's terrible. Not sheer AT ALL. It leaves a white cast that is so visible and feels sticky. I was disappointed as I like other Cetaphil products. I would not recommend this at all!
It reminded me of the cerave sunscreen thats not tinted. It was a little easier to rub in, but I had to pull so hard on my skin to get it a little less white. I got all over my hairline and eyebrows. Do not recommend for anyone with dry skin, it will cling to any dry patches. I thought maybe I could use it as a hand sunscreen for when I drive but it makes me look like my wearing gloves. I think I will only use it for my feet.
This is the worst sunscreen of my life. I am shocked, embarrassed, and feel ugly as a result after getting a rash from this sunscreen. It has ruined my vacation. I used before on my face with no issues other than a terrible white cast. I then used it on vacation on my arms and one leg thinking I can rub it in and the white cast wouldn't be bad. When I realized I was wrong I tried to wash it off. A few hours later I had a rash that spread to my back under arms , chest and hands. I have never experienced this and would not have expected this to happen from a sunscreen formulated for sensitive skin and backed by the eczema association.
