I purchased these sensors because the one with the amber light was not working. It was an easy install , and it is working perfectly. Definitely got my money 's worth on these items!
Oem replacement for my chamberlain garage door opener. Exact fit for older models.
Be careful there are 2 different types of sensors. I purchased the wrong one and had to return it. However, the return process was painless.
It's a genuine Chamberlain part, so what's to say but -- vutt a deal.
image does not show wires. product comes with 36-inch lead wires. Product works with Sears/Craftsman openers. Availability date and price switched 3 times during transaction.
I have a bracket on my sensor broken at the elbow it is very thin in this area, I have tried to find one but they only come with the full set, I am very disappointed that such a good product would have a flaw and with little help to replace.
Sensor did not last a day before replacement sensor was broken. Wiggle the wire in the base and light flashes on and off. Only way to fix is replace.
Trash, don't buy. Transmitter unit (w green light), burned out in 4 days. Replacement was DOA from carton. Returned both. Recommend try to get older model, larger, more rugged and more dependable.
What a pain. My original sensors worked for 23 years. These replacements worked for a few months. I certainly hope Chamberlain will send me a replacement , although it appears the replacement will also only last a short time?
I bought a set to replace the ones that were no longer working. I installed the set and they worked fine for 2 months and the one with the green light went dead! I checked all the wiring from the sensor to the opener unit and it was fine. The orange lighted sensor is on but the green one is unlit. I am very disappointed and will have to order another set of sensors,
