We got a pair of these at Christmas time to use from our house to our barn (about 500 yds away) and it works AWESOME! I love the idea that you don't have to plug it in (works on batteries) and I can take it upstairs or downstairs with me in the house and still have great reception to the barn. They work kinda like a walkie-talkie. GREAT PRODUCT!...wonder how we did without it all these years!
This is the second pair I bought because the first ones work so good. Now every in the family has one.
the intercom package works extremely well, with no problems.
Used between 2 houses approx. 300 ft. apart. Works very well, good reception, easy to operate. Being used as a safety feature for elderly parents. Recommend this product esp. for the price.
I purchased this product mostly for the monitor feature. Unfortunately, none of the descriptions of the product included the important fact that the monitor feature is ONLY voice activated, will stay on for 5 seconds then go off and reactivate, and it beeps each time it activates. I called the company tech support line to verify that this is the way the product is designed. Sound clarity as a monitor is acceptable, but certainly not exceptional - about what you'd expect for the price.
