My smoker/grill is a little different from the one in the picture. I have had mine around 6 or 8 years. It has been a great all around cooker.
Smoker will stay hot for quite some time with minimal edition of charcoal, and the smoke permeates very well throughout whatever meat you are cooking
i purchased our grill June 2012 and use it often. nothing like hickory smoked pork and chickens. I have always used charcoal and enjoy the food cooked or smoked on it.
This was my Father's Day gift and I absolutely love it.
Bought our Char-Broil bbq smoker grill and we love it! The quality of the grill is amazing making our meat and vegetables coming out wonderfully cooked. It also brings the family together! We will never choose another grill brand! Thank you Char-broil for coming into my family's life!!!!
We bought our smoker a year ago, and we have enjoyed using it so much!! Great smoky taste to ribs, briskets, pork loins, etc. It took a little getting used to regulating the heat but with the built in thermometer it helped a lot, and we're now cooking like pros!!
I received this as a gift. It took two people about 30 min.to assemble. All the parts were there and instructions were easily read. Looking forward to smoking Chicken and Briskets
I received this as a Father's Day present and so far it seems like a win. I have had both propane and charcoal grills in the past and was always a fan of charcoal but this adds a new dimension to grilling. I may be using this a little off-label but using the off-set smoker and low heat when grilling seems to add a good bit of flavor in the meat while removing any of the propane taste. This is a great starter grill/smoker but it is not for someone that wants to walk outside and throw hot dogs on the grill and be done in 3-5 minutes. It takes time and it takes patience but so far it seems worth it.
This product works for me, however this product makes it hard to regulate the grills temperature. especially when I am smoking meats. The Legs on this product can be made of heavier metal so that rust does happen after a couple years. Overall this product is good.
I just purchased this smoker from Field and Stream, it arrived yesterday and I was excited to smoke a pork shoulder today. It has been going for just 2 hours and when I went to check the temp and the paint was already falling off and the side is warping. Not impressed at all.
