I bought this in May 2014 And I love it. I use it everyday from smoking meat to make my steaks on it. With no worries of burning your food but just melt watering taste and so moist and tender no one believes me when I said I did this on my char-Broil. I love love my Char-Broil it's the best thing I ever bought in a very long time....
I have cooked on it almost everyday since I bought it...love it. I do need to get a couple more racks though as I haven't used the bottom one since most people say it doesn't cook well there.
Cooked the best turkey we've ever eaten. Skin was crisp and turkey was very moist!
The Big Easy infrared smoker is the best, hands down. If you're looking for a smoker that is easy to use, produces absolutely consistent results, and is a breeze to keep clean, then this is the one. You can smoke one item at a time or layer several different items--it all smokes equally well. Fire it up and get the smoke going on high (about 15 to 20 minutes) then turn it to low when you put your items in to smoke. Keep an eye on the wood chip box and replenish whenever it gets low (about every 30-45 minutes.) I use digital thermometers to watch the items in the smoker too. After the smoking is done, a wire brush makes a quick clean and the basket/racks go in the dishwasher. Empty the grease catcher and you're ready for the next round. Negative comments: You have to provide your own means of monitoring the internal temperature--easy solution is just to dedicate another thermometer to that purpose. It would be nice if CharBroil added a thermometer to the side of the lid to address that. (no points off for that, too easy to fix, but get it right in the Accessories offering CharBroil!) This grill definitely earned a 5 Star rating.
Have had this grill for about 4 months now. Recommended by a friend who bought one. I have used it for burgers, steaks, roasts, ribs, hotdogs, chicken. Everything I have cooked on it has been not only moist but the grill is so easy to use. I recommended it to a friend he bought one and his Mother-In-Law said the steaks he did were the best she has had in 20 years. I have sold the 2 charcoal grills I had.

Most versatile cooking unit in my outdoor kitchen. I was a purest and only used charcoal for smoking for many years. The Big Easy produces a better produce without the constant supervision that the charcoal smoker needs. Family members and neighbors are requesting that I cook every weekend. I tell them to buy a Big Easy for their yard!
I just used this for the first time last weekend. It was GREAT! The chicken came out perfect. I just need to figure out how to keep the top grill cleaned. I seasoned it like it says and put more non stick spray on it before I used it. I LOVE IT!
Love the Grill itself but there is no specific instructions on how to use it for each type of meat you want to cook. Had to get on the internet to see how to cook 12# turkey. Its to much trial & error you have when cooking with the Grill for the first time.
Great concept, poor execution. Handles can not support the weight of the grill and quickly permanently bend the outer shell the first time you try to pick it up. Even at low temp setting, the grill is way too hot for low and slow smoking. Grill yes, Big Easy Oil-Less Turkey cooker, yes, Smoker, not even close.
