Works great and last a long time.
Best laundry soap in my opinion. I have a top loading SpeedQueen washer and I've never had an issue with this causing a film in the stainless steel tub (some reviewers on other websites have complained about this but it's not an issue in my experience). Regular use of this product will leave your clothes very clean, and you should not use fabric softener or dryer sheets - this product alone is enough and I don't have an issue with static. My clothes are clean and do not have any odor. Product used to come in a round plastic tub with a screw on lid - Charlie's Soap, please bring back that as an option and call this pouch the "refill" size. Luckily I had saved a few of my old Charlie's Soap plastic containers and I go outside and pour this bag into the old container. I find it easier to use than the pouch. Pouch includes a plastic tablespoon and it's easy to exactly the same amount every time and get all 100 loads from the pouch. Let about 3 inches of water accumulate in the washer tub before sprinkling this so that it doesn't clump. Charlie's Soap also sells a spray stain remover that is a nice companion to this product when pre-treating is necessary.
We have been using Charlie's soap for years . Our cloths get really clean and colors don't fade. One small scoop cleans a whole load of stinky , dirty cloths better then anything we have ever used . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I am as frugal as they come. I budget every single time we have money, I scrimp, I save...but I splurge on Charlie's Soap. I tried it one time in my HE front load washer, and one scoop not only washed my clothes extremely well, but it also cleaned my drum. Residue can build up on the inside of the washer, and I couldn't believe how sparkly it was after just one wash! I'm a believer in Charlie's Soap for getting clothes super clean and smelling fresh.
love this deturgent. works great.
Been using this for over a year now. Best decision we ever made. It takes a little time (progressive washings) to get things clean, but that just shows how poorly regular detergents cover up grime for that instant satisfaction (which isn't very satisfying because they all have noxious chemicals).
I wash clothes consistently and didn't really believe this Charlie's Soap would be much different than the others, and I was looking for something new it's Awesome! The clothes are light and fluffy is the best way to describe them after the wash and I don't use fabric softener. You just know the clothes are clean and you use one scoop of powder. It's amazing not trying to make it smell clean. It's worth it.
No harsh scent. It made my sensitive skin feel fine. I didnt break out in any rashes. Took stains and odor out of clothing and any wash loads.
I looked into getting Charlie's since it is supposed to be better for your septic system (we have a septic tank). I was skeptical about buying Charlie's because it is Fragrance Free. But since it really cleans your clothes, you don't need a fragrance to cover up any smells your detergent left behind. Our laundry simply is cleaner. It feels cleaner and smells cleaner. I don't know yet because I know I put extra scoops because I fill my washer with clothes and teenagers sweat i figure I try it but I'm not too convinced about it
