Chicago makes good, sharp, solid knives at a reasonable price. This knife is solid, but not the knife I thought it was. The problem is that there is no specific definition of a "utility knife" and the pictures were not clear. There is nothing wrong with the knife, it's just not what I expected (or wanted)
I just received my knives and saw that the blades are serrated. I don't see any mention in the description that the blade is serrated. I was looking to purchase a knife that is a paring knife kind of knife. Awhile back I was able to purchase a couple of Chicago Cutlery paring knifes at my local store, but haven't seen any since. I will keep these new knifes, but would like to buy paring ones.
