Yea yes yes best knives set ever
This is my 2nd purchase from Wal-Mart. I shopped for quality knives locally since the last Chicago knife I had for about 12 years finally broke. Up to that day when the knife separated from the handle the knife was still sharp. The ordering was simple. The product arrived in the time told to me. I would order from them again
I purchased a set of these knives along with the block over 20 years ago. I recently lost some in a move (I'm sure they are in a box that hasn't been unpacked), and needed these key pieces as I use them daily. They have held up so well - again, with daily use. I do oil the handles about once a month just to keep the handles in great shape after being washed everyday. Highly recommend...and Walmart has the best prices for these knives.
Best ever. I got a set of these almost 40 years ago. I wish I had taken better care of them. I just threw them in the dishwasher. I have never had to have a new edge put on they just an occasional tune up with a steel. They still have a great edge. The wood is wearing that's why I started looking for new ones. I have got other ones they the years nothing compares. I was surprised to see that wal mart carries them. They were. Specialty item back when I got my first two srt. I was so pleased to see that the unlit you still stands. Yuck shipping. I will get a set for my son and plan on getting the big set also. Thank you foe keeping the quality. These are some of my old ones with one new one
Sharp knives at a reasonable cost
Easy to sharpen. Stay sharp longer. Good looking knife. Wouldn't own any other knife.
Absolutely the best knives I've ever owned.
The knives themselves are very nice. The don't rust and are very sharp. A little bulky and heavy, but I actually like that. The only bad thing I can say is when they arrived they had already been opened. Should not be sending out opened product, leave those in store for someone to CHOOSE whether they want tampered merchandise.
The chinese made Chicago Cutlery are not as good as the ones that used to be made in the USA, but for the price, they are good enough.
These knives are ok. Not as good as the old ones I have. The handles aren't rounded off, so it isn't as comfortable. The blades are a little thinner than the old ones. They do the job they are supposed to do. They cut meat and vegetables just fine.
