E.Z. to put together. Very solid. Well worth the money spent.
This crib is a great deal for the price. It satisfied all of my criteria when searching for a crib, and believe me I searched! The style, look, ease of assembly, function and safety are all excellent.
The crib is beautiful. Wish it had a drawer underneath, though. Was a bit difficult to put together in that it took three of us to put it together. Two had to hold the sides together and the metal piece inside of the hole in one of the sides while someone else screwed in the screw from outside the crib. That was the worst part. A breeze after that.
A very nice crib. The wood is darker than in the online picture, but not a big deal, and still very pretty. Goes well with our natural colored furniture from 1st son. The 1st mattress setting is quite high, we will be moving it down to start off with. Also, mattress fits very very snug in crib, no gaps at all. Very sturdy crib. I wish it had wheels, because it is heavy for me to move, but that is fine. Husband put it together in about 1.5hrs, good instructions, just time consuming like any other put together furniture. I'm really pleased with the crib, especially for the price, a lot nicer than my 1st hand-me down crib. It also came undamaged, which I was worried about because of the box was mangled when it arrived.

Beautiful Crib! However, it is NOT mahogany, but more like a cherry color! Very pretty, though. It was extremely hard to put together. The instructions were terrible. My husband put it together and thank goodness he is very mechanically inclined! Would definitely recommend this crib, but make sure you get someone who is very capable of putting it together!
I love this crib! My parents bought me this crib and the matching changing table for a shower gift. It is beautiful and the dropside rail is very easy to use. My father put both pieces together in one afternoon. He said it wasn't difficult to follow the directions at all. I would definitely reccomend this crib.
This crib is so beautiful in person. I'm so happy with it. It is solid wood with a cherry finish not mahogany. Very easy to put together.
Its easy to put togeather until you get to the dropside and then you have to wrangle with it to get it togather and lined up correctly and everything. The screws ripped the metal thing from the wooden bar which caused me to know need to get replacement parts. Its cherry in color and very pretty seems sturdy from what i have put together the rest is easily assembl;ed. Just need to get ahold of carters which isnt easy since they dont answer their phones.......
I think that for the price this is a good crib. It wasn't too difficult to put together and looks like it will be able to weather the wear and tear from a child. I was surprised that the drop side doesn't come down too far, but my husband and I are tall enough that we shouldn't have to use it too much. The top mattress level also seems a little high, we have it initially set at the second highest height.
