My younger child loved it though and had no problem taking it. Both still coughed at night, at bed time. As a parent, my greatest relief was that it was dye free. We have stopped most kid-geared edibles in our home because of dyes, so it's nice to find medicines that are natural.

My son will immediately turn down medicine at the thought of it, but once he saw the cute packaging, he considered taking it! The smell isn't bad and taste isn't awful either like many other cough syrups that taste like chemicals. This is a great alternative for children!

From trips to the pool and running from the hot outdoors to the cool indoors, a cough was inevitable. Thankfully we received a complimentary bottle of the Robitussin Naturals Cough relief. I wasn't sure if I'd use this anytime soon but it came in handy this morning as she was battling a cough. She thought it was "sticky sweet and sometimes sour" but still drank the dosage advised. My youngest… didn't like the flavor at all. 20 min to finish one dose. However it did quiet his cough immediately! I tasted it. It's like honey with a citric tang at the end. It is convenient. Wish my youngest liked it better.

While this met my expectations and I like the fact that it's free from artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, unfortunately we were not huge favors of the taste. As this is for cough relief, it should have a thicker consistency (which it does), however the taste is almost sickly sweet (tastes of honey). Not a fan at all.
