I received my sample a month ago. I track my fitness goals on a regular basis but now I can push my self during a workout because I can see my heart rate. I like the recaps of my workouts, the daily goal setting and the celebration of hitting my daily goals. As a commuter in NYC I like accepting a call from my watch and I don't have to constantly dig for my phone, I never miss a notification. The silicone strap is really comfortable and the customizable displays is great for picking new looks and the information I want to see at a glance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not really a watch type person but this one has changed all of that. This watch isn't just stylish its my life line now . It is so easy to fiqure out how to set up everything. I would not like having to pull out my phone to know the weather or to get a message or a call . The speaker works so great . Calls incoming and outgoing are nice and clear. Music plays so well on it also . The bass in the songs sounds nice also and not distorted. Adding tiles to the watch is super easy and I can customize it just the way I want. I can also change the style of the homescreen and color . It came in a nice stylish box and was packaged nicely with a thick type foam to protect the faceplate of the watch and the band. Attaching the watch band was easy and took about two minutes or less. It isn't a heavy watch but it's built very well . Having the 8gb of memory is a nice feature. I won't have to worry about storage space for awhile . The touch sensitivity is awesome and isn't to touchy . The knows are easy to turn. When I get a message I can hear the notification sound loud and clear and I don't miss any calls like I would with my phone. I absolutely love this watch.
The watch is fashionable but the battery life is lagging
It is a great watch, just watch how you use it. Perfectly syncs to Google Wear OS. Not very many watch face options that come standard. Battery is nice and lasts about a day and a half of normal use unless you have a watch face that requires to much constant data. The watch glass already has a small scratch from my everyday use, so don't be too hard it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the Citizen CZ Smart WearOS, out of the box, you need to install the watch bands yourself. That's something I didn't expect, but it's easy to do. The watch face is large, but a normal size for a watch. The thickness is also pretty normal compared to a regular non-smart watch. I think the crown, and watch case look nice. It looks like a normal watch and doesn't stick out, which I like. After turning the watch on, there is a setup process, like installing the app on your phone, signing in to your account, accepting terms of service, and allowing multiple permissions to let it collect your data and use info from your phone. It's quite a lot of taps, swipes, and screens to go through. I think the process could be streamlined, but thankfully, you only need to do it once when setting up the watch. The most useful parts I find are the fitness related features. By default it shows your number of steps taken, steps progress for the day, and last measured heart rate. Though, the steps count doesn't always seem accurate. It also can track your sleep. You can start a workout and it will tell you various health related measurements and stats that happened during the workout. Another small thing I like is that it can switch between showing an extra time zone easily. It's useful when traveling. Overall, if you're looking for a WearOS watch that looks like a classic wristwatch instead of high-tech gizmo, I think the CZ Smart WearOS is a good choice.
It has a very bad connection with my iphone, it disconnects easily and you have to reset it to connect again, the option to answer calls does not always work, the battery does not last the 24 hours that they announce in the description. the price is very high for the simplicity of the watch, 20 years ago I use Citizen I never thought that I would be so disappointed with this watch
First impressions: battery life severely lacking, wish the face would just dim and not change to a simpler face when trying to save battery life. A little cumbersome to navigate compared to Apple Watch. Like the look overall. Acclimating to functions. Biggest two issues are battery and screen change.
It was a nice watch. Definitely on the bigger end for a woman (I bought it for me, a woman, and could've made the size work for what it is). However, a lot of the features didn't work when paired to my iPhone (music, calls, texts). For the price, if it wasn't going to work as intended, it wasn't worth keeping just for a few neat electronic features. I returned. The battery life also sucks.
I have owned the watch for two weeks. I have an iPhone 12. Initial Impression: I bought this watch because it looks like a watch. i don't like the square smart watches. Also I own multiple Citizen watches and I have enjoyed their quality, time-keeping, and style over the past 15 years. I wore an analog Citizen daily and this seemed like a good transition to the smartwatch world. I love the style and size of this watch. I love the options for bands it comes with. I enjoy that it has multiple analog faces that I can choose from. The screen is bright and easy to read. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Pros I like the options in app. I like the time-keeping and the wear OS app is generally good along with Google fit. I work out every day and it seems to keep all my stats well. I have been happy with its performance in this regard. Cons Battery life is is frustratingly short. I barely get a day out of it. I want to use some features like tilt-to-wake etc but it drains the battery too fast. I still have not figured out how to get text message notifications on the watch. I have reset it multiple times and read every instruction. The iPhone doesn't seems to mesh well with the watch. The BIGGEST con is that this watch monopolizes my bluetooth. My phone stopped connecting to my car and my bluetooth speaker after connecting to the watch. This is a horrible aspect about this watch and one that quite frankly makes me not want to wear it. I need to turn bluetooth off on the watch and then my phone connects to everything again just fine. I kinda wish I could return it and do more research into a device that worked more seamlessly with my iPhone but that wasn't an Apple Watch.
