This paint stripper is awesome! It ate through 3 layers of paint on a kitchen cabinet in no time! We are going to strip, sand and stain the cabinets and this will do the trick perfectly! A little expensive for such a small bottle, but it's great!

Patients is the optimum word. If you are in a hurry, you will not like this product. If you are not in a big hurry and want to take the time, enjoy low to no fumes, low toxicity and mild to your wood you will love this product. I stripped a Hoosier Cupboard with several layers of paint which bottom layer was most definitely lead based. After a 24 hour soak time only a minor second touch up treatment was needed and the results was great. I have had no such luck the high VOC and highly toxic alternatives.

I have used CitriStrip for years. I have used it on wood and metal and have always gotten good results. The added bonus is that the smell is not as bad as other strippers, but I would still use it in a well-ventilated area. I noticed my eyes and nose burning a little bit while using it in my closed garage. All in all, a great product at a fair price.

I'm new at redoing furniture. But I took on a hutch that has been in family for over 30 years so there was allot of smoke build up, dirt, grime, and a really thick coat of waxy build up. I tried sandining it first, well that was a whole lot of elbow grease, and tons of sand paper later. I thought there has to be a better way of doing this. So off to Walmart I go and found a can of this product to try. And to my amazement it worked so fast. It was awesome. This project will go much faster now.

I let it sit on the wood project I was stripping for say 15 mins... Used a putty knife type tool to scrape off. Worked well! I did need to re-apply for areas that had a second layer of paint. Having the non offencive oder was great!

First of all to all the complainer about this product... Their not applying it correctly. You start out by doing small areas with a thin coat at a time, and work that area until you have pretty much removed all your (top coats off) Then reuse some of your extra remover on other areas... If needed apply another thin coat and let it set and work at it again. Once an area is fished - rinse with warm water. It's a time consuming process.... But what people are doing is applying large amounts of this product in huge areas ...... Yes, that's going to make more of a mess than needed. I have use this product on refinishing beautiful log homes for years. An nothing compares to the smell either! Reminder.... Always rinse off any extra remover completely- if not your stain will not work!

Was trying to find a product to redo a cradle. Found this that could be used indoors and safe. I have to say that this product is amazing. brushed it on and within 10min the paint was already bubbling. Left it on for only 45min and the paint came right off with little effort. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

Not a bad product for the price. It works. Just need to reapply a couple of times. Doesn't take much to do the job. A little goes a long ways.
