I can't hear anything without my hearing aids, that being said I found it very cumbersome trying to use a standard phone with hearing aids. Took a chance on this amplified phone after many failures with other phones. This phone is awesome, you need to buy the base station first then add on these handsets, I have the max 5 units scattered around the house. The system is expensive but it make life easier being able to hear on a phone call.
Slim line! Easy to hold! Still difficult to figure out how to use the 6 Top Buttons.
Worked for a few years, then crapped out. The home ringer and cell ringer are linked, so there's no way to turn off one and keep the other one on.
