Great system with advance volume settings. I purchased a cordless for the kitchen and they sync well VM and all!

Bought this for our 92 year old Aunt. She is very hard of hearing. Now she talks on the phone, because she can finally hear what the caller is saying to her! She is very happy

I am very pleased with this phone overall. It has a good sound and if needed the boost button works well. I do wish the answering machine would blink when there is a message but that is minor. It is difficult to find a phone that has all the features one wants and this came closest for me. I like that it has a little weight to it so doesn't pull off desk every time we use it. I wanted less radiation in my home so this fits the bill. I got a 25 foot cord so I could still move around some.

I purchased this item for my father who wears a hearing aid and has trouble hearing on the regular phone. He likes this phone because of the feature that allows him to increase the volume and also give it an additional boost of volume if necessary.

I bought this two months ago for my 92 year old mother who is profoundly deaf.. She can now hear the ring which is loud enough to be heard throughout the apartment building if turned to its highest level. And when I call her she is able to hear my voice better than when I am in front of her. The only problem I had was in programming numbers so that when the phone rings she can see the names and numbers of my sister, brother and me when we phone her.. I called the company for assistance and they were not able to solve the problem. They insisted that the phone provider was not providing the call display service which I knew was not the case since the phone she had been using prior to this one did display names and numbers. After some experimenting I realized that I had to program in the area code as well as the 7 digit phone numbers. Now when I call her she can see my name, my number and also the name and number is announced so she could hear that as well. Unfortunately her hearing is so bad that the announcement is not clear to her but she knows it is one of her children calling. I recommend this phone. It is less costly ordering from Walmart than buying elsewhere. In fact one pharmacy that provides hearing devices was going to charge $200 more for the very same phone. Of course it is fairly new so time will tell if it works consistently.

Phone has a lot of nice features for a hearing impaired person. Unfortunately, the answering machine function does not have the Message Waiting alert that meets my mother's needs. She is unable to hear the beeping signals showing a message is waiting. She needs a flashing light signal to alert her that a message has been recorded. Will have to return for only that one, but important, reason.

I don't have answering machine set up and don't plan to use it. Needed more decibels so chose this phone. Not easy to set up all of the features but amplification is good.

I purchased this for my elderly Father, and there are a features I wish this would have had. 1.) When there is a message on the answering machine, the sound notification is weak. - Would have been better if the red light would flash when there is a message. 2.) Took a while before realizing the 'page/flash' was the 'call waiting' button - Should just be labeled 'call waiting' as it gets confusing for the elderly. 3.)The answering machine buttons are small, and not very self explanatory. - They should make it simpler. He decided to abandon that feature and stick with his old answering machine. This one is too complicated. The number buttons are large, and the boost button is great when he isn't wearing his hearing aid, but too much for when he has them in. We're still learning the machine and he seems to be getting use to something new/different.

There are pros and cons

Pros, this is a nice looking phone and doesn't require batteries for any functions. I like the large number buttons. Cons, the clock won't keep the proper time. It always stays at 3 hours a head. I program it and the next day it's back to being 3 hours a head. This is the second phone. I sent the 1st one back, but this one does the same thing. I called the company and they said it's the phone companies line and not the phone. I also would prefer a screen with a black back round and blue print. Also the receiver doesn't sit securely enough on the base. It's very easily knocked off.
