I WAS REDOING MY DECK AND ABOUT 1/3 OF THE WAY THRU i HAD TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT MY KNEES. I REMEMBERING SEEING THESE ON A NORTHERN FLYER ,(WHICH I ALWAYS LOOK AT). SO I WENT AND PURCHASED THESE, BEST DOLLARS I SPENT ON THE WHOLE PROJECT. THEY ARE A LIFE SAVER FOR THIS OLD MAN!!!
They worked exactly as expected at a much lower price than much higher priced ones. In my book, 2 THUMPS UP!
this is just what we neede to work in the garden
My DIY jobs require a lot of kneeling carpentry, mechanical, landscaping and garden work. My previous knee pads were worn out. I purchased these when I was working on a project away from my home thinking I could bring home when done. In the catalog they looked decent and less complicated to use than the “pro” grade set I had been using. While these pads worked well enough for the light duty work at the time, they did not match up to my old set. The Velcro type wraps do not stay locked and the slick inner surfaces slipped downwards with frequent up and down activity. The padding was OK for the light work at that time. I would consider these disposable in the work I do, but for other light work with less position change they may be adequate. I wore these over heavy work pants and perhaps they would work over lighter fabric or direct skin contact.
