One 8 ounce drink after my morning run and I don't need the coffee... until later. Helps to hydrate and I know I'm restoring what this aging body needs after the workout. Flavor is good, but mostly I'm eager to recover and love Clif's sustainability practices.
This is my go-to recovery mix after getting off the bike trainer or returning from a hard run. Delicious simply mixed with water, and great in shakes, smoothies, etc.
Great tasting. Mixes well in water. Only drawback is how small the bag is! Wish it were at least 2X the size. Other than that, no complaints.
I routinely purchase the Cliff Hydration electrolyte and Protein Recovery drink mixes for during and after hard and long bike rides. They taste great and work very well. I also purchased the Cliff Bar Coffee Collection Gift Set just to try the different Cliff Bar coffee flavors, and loved them all. The beautiful Klean Kanteen Cliff mug was a great bonus!
I bought this protein powder for its clean, basic ingredient list. As someone with SIBO who CAN tolerate lactose but CAN'T tolerate sugar alternatives (sorbitol, erythritol, stevia, etc) or added fibers (inulin, etc), this is truly the only flavored protein powder I came across that I could eat. It tastes great, with no off flavors, just sweet chocolatey goodness. I've just been mixing it with soy or oat milk and drinking it straight. I bet it would be amazing in a smoothie with some banana and/or peanut butter though. Or with coffee to make a mocha-flavored smoothie.
Bought this for recovery form my workout routine. Have used it for months now. Ran out of gas one afternoon doing heavy yard work and decided to use as a pick-me-up and rehydrate. I was amazed at the rapid yet sustained energy boost. Another use for a product I love. (What can we do about eliminating the plastic scoops?)
Used this in five days of backpacking in the Grand Canyon and just bought a resupply for backpacking the Collegiate Peaks loop! It gets me going in the morning and helps me recovery at the end of the day.
Almond milk, a banana, about four ounces of peanut butter & some ice. Fire up the blender, and prepare to feel refreshed!
Product taste is good and good for post workout recovery. Only downfall is the bag size-they need to make it 3x bigger!!
Delicious! I have a nice helping of this after most bike rides or runs that are longer than an hour. It does the trick and tides me over through my stretching routine so I can eat a proper meal instead of just cramming a bunch of food in my face as soon as I get home.
