It is the best washing machine cleaner on the market. I have used others but the smell of old water still was their. Since using Clorox washing machine cleaner my washingmachine smells nice a clean like new. I use it once a month to keep the machine smelling clean all month lomg.
I had no idea that everyone who has a HE washer has the stink problem. It was the only thing I hated about the washer. Using this product really helps. It won't be totally gone with just one use, but I can definitely tell a difference right away. Thank you for helping to rid my laundry room of that stale/mold water smell!

I first saw Clorox Washing Machine Cleaner on the store shelf when I moved to St. Augustine, FL in Dec. 2014. I had never used a Washing Machine Cleaner before. It cleaned my washing machine so well, and it smelled pleasant. When I went to purchase more, it was not on the shelf. After searching numerous chain stores for it, I was forced to buy other brands since. I think I've tried every brand available, but NONE of them worked as well as the Clorox brand. So, I went online, and found the stores where it was available. Thank you for making this product. No other product can compare to it. I use many other "Clorox" products, because I find it to be the BEST on the market for all my cleaning/disinfecting jobs.
I love this product for my washing machine because i have two guys that work in construction and in the restaurant business. They leave the machine dirty and greasy. The product thoroughly cleans and ready for use afterwards and doesn't leave residue on other clothes and towels. The hard part is finding someone who carries the product.
I purchased a high efficiency washer about a year ago. The manufacturer recommends using a cleaner once a month to make sure no mold and mildew are building up in the water lines. Clorox makes such a product and I have had great success in using it with my machine. The little "floaties" are removed and my water lines stay nice and clean! We only wash a few loads a week as retirees, so I use it less often, but I am sure a family with lots of heavy laundry from sports and outdoor activities would be pleased with the advantage of a VERY clean machine.
I have an 8 year old front loading washing machine that had visible mold and smelled horrible. Years of using Tide and Affresh tablets did no good. I was almost ready to replace it even though it works great. Today I tried Clorox Washing Machine Cleaner for the first time. YAYYYYY!! My washing machine smells fresh and clean, like new, and the visible mold is gone. Thank you for a fantastic product.
I use this once a month in my front loading machine and it does a good job. Some of the other washing machine cleaners have such a heavy fragrance it actually comes out on my clothes! This is by far the best washing machine cleaner out there! I have tried many others, but nothing compares to this product. With athletic children, we do loads of laundry every day so I have to stay on top of the buildup in my washer. I only wish more stores carried this product.
