I've had this radar detector in my vehicle or some months now. it does exactly what it's supposed to do.
It still gives off some false pings, but overall it gave off the ones that mattered. The range is pretty long to as far as how far out it's picking up. Idk about the app yet. Still trying to pin point that to my drives. I'll do an update after I have it figured out. If it wasn't for the false pings. It would be 5 stars because for the price, it does what it's supposed to do.
got my first ever detector it picked up a lot of false alerts around Audi's, Honda's and Acura's returned it and grabbed a Uniden R3 1000% better than the cobra
I've had my device for 15 months and the screen has gone almost completely black! Can only use with volume turned up to hear because very little on the edges light up. Right outside the manufacturer's warranty.
This unit is bad and I need a replacement or refund. This is my second time contacting you. I have used Cobra radar detectors for over 30 years and this one is a lemon :lemon: . . Please let me know that you will rectify this . . Thanks ! !
Complete garbage; so many false alerts and when I finally passed a cop and it only went off after passing, I disconnected it and put this crappy detector away. What a waste!!!
It goes off at many stoplights and automatic doors. It is silent most of the time with police. Not worth the money, unfortunately.
