I was looking for a dash cam for my classic car to replace a Garmin. I looked at Cobra because it is a trusted brand. Selected the SC201 Cobra primarily for the duel camera and navigation since my car didn't have. Cam was easy to set up and connected easily to my phone. I use the adjustable cabin camera to record out the back window without running another camera out the back. Picture quality is pretty good (1080) however, do get a slight vibration in recorded sound that I didn't get with Garmin. Going to experiment with diffent placement to isolate if from car or camera. Overall great cam for the money. Purchased direct from Cobra.com and customer service was excellent. They offer similar cameras on AMAZON but preferred to stick with a brand I trust.
Love this product. Got it for a gift for my Son's. So they can look back at situations and see how Their driving was
I like the fact that I can show any Accidents as well as myself wearing my Seatbelt.

As far as I'm concerned it not that great. When you use the GPS with the app, it is miles - yes, literally miles behind in the course. It's like the unit gets stuck and does not move. Limited directions. If something happened and I wanted to freeze or stop the recording to save it, what should I do? This is kinda the reason you buy it but it's not mentioned in any documentation.
Drive mode doesn't work so to review your recording you must have an sd card reader
The pricy yet not that capable dash cam. The picture / video quality is somewhat that I like. But the camera reliability and coverage is all questionable in a sense that it turns off out of nowhere and at anytime. Unacceptable because you never know if you are covered or not... Not reliable....
I never received my item or my money back. The shipping company they use left the item in Plainview from the street.
It's not powering on.
It flickered, almost as if it was losing power, few days go buy, it starts flickering so much it'd turn off when I first started my car. Now, it'll turn on, flicker, turn off and repeat that for about 15-30 minutes, after about an hour of being on, it'll stop flickering all together and stay on as normal. But it started passed my return window, so, I can't return it lol.
