It makes very quick work of clearing a clogged sink or bathtub drain. You wiggle the device down the drain up to its handle end, and then pull it back out, usually bringing a wad of old hair and soap residues with it. The little plastic prongs are sharp so keep this away from small children. The instructions say to then just throw away the device and the hair clog together, but it's easy to strip it in the direction of the prongs with your fingers over a trash can or toilet bowl cleaning it off. A final quick rinse with clean water and it's ready to reuse. A clever inexpensive tool. I've loaned mine to my friends and they usually then go get one for themselves after they tried it.

This product was easy to use and it worked like a charm. This is a quirky addition to the review, but it was oddly satisfying being able to fix my drain so quickly with this. Highly recommend.
It works better than chemicals. It's quick and easy to use and it's inexpensive.
Works just as described & easy to use too. I had a slow running drain & I could not remove the drain plug (I tried). And I still was able to use this tool & fix the drain. You get 2; so very glad to have it available when I need it. However it came in a huge box all by itself.
Zip-It works better than plunging or liquid drain cleaner or anything else I've tried. It is quick, effective, and quite satisfying to get all that gunk out of the drain! If you are careful, you can clean and reuse.

Say goodbye to draino or plungers - all that is needed is Zip-it. In a few seconds, all the hair is removed and the clog is gone. Nothing else works as well or as easy as Zip-it. The beauty lies in its simplicity.
Would help if it was longer, and this was the longest I could find. It's good but doesn't work well in an older drain with what seems to be a smaller opening. The sink stopper doesn't come up very far so it is tough to get the Zip-it inserted and VERY difficult to pull it back out. Pulled up very short hairs (son shaved his head over sink) but there is obviously more slightly farther inside drain. Guess its back to Red Devil Lye!
