My school district purchased 20 of these for my remedial students to use for audio books, over a year ago. They are fantastic. Get used 6 times a day by high school students.... great deal... don't know how the sound would be for music but for audio books, it's great! I just ordered another 5 as they do break when dropped numerous times on a tile floor but then so would a more expensive machine!
Am so happy w/this CD player & was afraid they weren't making these personal CD players anymore. This one exceeded my expectations & the price was right. Great sound, easy to use & is just what I expected & more. I'd recommend this CD player to anyone wanting something economical & good sound.
The sound is very clear I wanted something easy to handle so I could fall a sleep with out any prob;ems of seeing in the dark.the price was the lowest around for the same product.thanks again walmart
I was a bit skeptical when I bought this product. The price was very reasonable, but sometimes with electronics that is a little scary as you are not sure of the quality. This CD player plays better than my higher end product. I ordered this for my son for Christmas and he loves the bass it has. I should also add that ease of function was another sale for me, this product is very user friendly, my son is mentally disabled and sometimes has a diffacult time with products, but he figured out the usage within 5 minutes! Kudos on this product!
I purchased this to listen to audio books and have been satisfied. Batteries last for about three hours of continual use, but with rechargeable batteries, that isn't a concern. I'm mildly hearing disabled, need to use a headset with my PC. My old headset was a Walmart.com $7 purchase, and because of my hearing difficulties the volume was just barely adequate. I tried the headset from this unit with my computer and it enabled me to watch movies online without having to use the closed captioning. This would give it a five, but the lid isn't very tight on the CD player and I have to grasp it tightly in the center if I wish to listen while I'm walking or it skips. Otherwise, it's excellent.
Works as expected, uses 2 AA batteries. Has a hookup so you can run it off electric ion your home etc. Comes with over the head-head phones. The only thing we dont like is, the lcd display is small & there is no belt clip on the back of this. In all its what you would expect from this brand & for the price. We cant complain. Hope this review helps.
While I place my order I understand that my purchase would be in the store for pick up on the 19th which was a perfect date, however on completion of my purchase the date changed to the 24th. This was a gift to a child I mentored and unfortunately we never got this player to work and so had to return it on the next day.Was very disappointed.
bought 2 of these for my boys for christmas. They came on time and the boys were excited to get them. Opened them up and one didnt work at all. The other worked sporadically. They also have a button on the inside that rubs on the disc as it turns and you can hear it while the cd is playing. This is a very bad design.
The slightest movement makes this skip. If you buy this, don't take a deep breath, it'll skip. Shocked at Colby. Sorry....but this one never should have been put on the market. The "hissing" noise is very annoying. I'm returning mine!
